Toyota Motor Ltd is born (Now Toyota Motor Corporation)

1948

Toyota Group's trading company is established under the name Nisshin Tsusho Kaisha Ltd (now Toyota Tsusho Corporation).

1956

LA 1-ton, the first Toyota forklift truck is introduced.

1988

The first production site outside Japan, Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Inc., established in Columbus, Indiana, USA.

1975

The first Electric Forklift Truck is launched. The 3-ton series.

1992

Toyota Tsusho Corporation of Mexico is formally formed, its main activity being the sale of Industrial Equipment.

2000

Toyota launches the revolutionary Internal Combustion 7 Series with the first SAS.

2016

Toyota's first Fuel Cell lift truck is launched in Japan.
